North Lanarkshire Council will make a £15,000 charitable donation to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) to help with the catastrophic floods in Pakistan.
Following full settlement from elected members the donation to the DEC is to assist fund its members charities’ UK-based actions whose assets are being put below appreciable pressure as they reply to the disaster affecting Pakistan.
The DEC brings collectively 15 main UK assist charities to lift funds shortly and effectively at occasions of disaster abroad.
