Man rushed to hospital with critical injuries following early morning disturbance near primary school

A person has been rushed to hospital with "crucial accidents" following a disturbance within the early hours of this morning in close to a faculty in Whitburn.

Officers had been known as out at round 4.10am to Raeburn Crescent, near Croftmalloch Main, following a report of a disturbance.

The 36-year-old sufferer is being handled in hospital for crucial accidents and a 28-year-old man has been arrested in reference to the incident.

Detective Inspector John Murphy, from Livingston CID, mentioned: “A 36-year-old man has been taken to hospital with critical accidents and his situation is described as being crucial. A 28-year-old man has been arrested in reference to the incident and enquiries are ongoing.

“Officers stay within the space right now we’d prefer to reassure the neighborhood that that is believed to have been an remoted incident, with no threat to the broader public.”
