Man dies after horror single-vehicle crash on Scots country road

A person has tragically died after a single-vehicle crash on a Scots nation street.

The motive force of a crimson Jaguar XK8 Coupe was travelling alongside the on the A83 Previous Navy Highway, close to Ardgartan in Argyll and Bute on Saturday, September 24 when it drove off the street. Medics rushed to the collision at 6.05pm however sadly, the 70-year-old man was pronounced lifeless on the scene.

The street was closed for nearly eight hours to permit police to hold out investigations. It re-opened at 1.55am immediately. Officers have launched a probe into the deadly crash and have urged any witnesses to come back ahead.

Specifically, they wish to converse to the driving force of a blue Fiat who's believed to have seen the automobile previous to the collision.

Sergeant Archie McGuire of Argyll and West Dunbartonshire Highway Policing Unit mentioned: “At the moment, our ideas are with the household and pals of the deceased, following their tragic loss. I'm interesting for anybody with any info which can help us to get in contact.

“I'm notably eager to talk to the occupants of a blue colored automobile, probably a Fiat, which was travelling from Arrochar and should have witnessed the automobile previous to the crash.”
