Police have shut down a busy road in Edinburgh metropolis centre after a person was discovered injured.
Officers rushed to Market Road, on the rear of Waverley Station shortly after 1pm on Tuesday, September 27 to stories of an injured man.
Forensic officers have additionally been noticed within the space as they perform enquiries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson stated: “Officers are at present in attendance at Market Road in Edinburgh after a person was discovered injured. Enquiries are ongoing”
In a separate incident within the metropolis centre on Tuesday afternoon, a bomb disposal items had been responding to an incident on Chambers Road, reverse the Nationwide Museum. Enquiries centred round a 'suspicious package deal' which was discovered within the metropolis's Crown Workplace constructing.
