Confiscated food from queue for Queen’s lying in state donated to charity

Meals confiscated from folks ready within the queue for the Queen’s mendacity in state is being donated to charity.

People should not allowed to take meals or drink contained in the Palace of Westminster and any such objects can be confiscated.

Charity The Felix Mission stated it expects to gather over two tonnes of meals, principally snacks together with crisps, chocolate and biscuits, and can also be accepting undesirable blankets.

With folks ready as much as 24 hours to finish the five-mile stroll from Southwark Park to Westminster Corridor to pay their respects to the Queen, they're coming with loads of meals to maintain them going.

The charity bought concerned after being advised by The Scout Affiliation that plenty of meals was being thrown within the bin.

Mourners have till Monday morning to see the Queen mendacity in state.

With many having to sleep out in a single day and temperatures dropping, officers have been handing out blankets.

These are actually being discarded as folks get to the entrance and The Felix Mission will give half to charities supporting the homeless in London, and the remainder can be donated as provides to Ukraine.
