Aer Lingus has warned of delays to some flights from Dublin Airport following a technical failure in its on-line reservation and operation system.
Customers reported lengthy queues on the airport on Saturday because the airline’s examine in was being dealt with manually.
Aer Lingus stated: “We're at the moment having connection points with our cloud-based reservation and operational programs impacting on check-in and boarding processes.
“This will likely trigger some delay and disruption to our providers over the approaching hours.
“We apologise to our clients for any inconvenience brought on on this interval.
“We're working to resolve the connection points as quickly as potential.”
In a tweet, Dublin Airport stated it was an inner difficulty for the airline brought on by an “IT outage”.
