Three killed in Highlands crash were American tourists, Police Scotland confirm

Three individuals killed in a Highlands crash had been American vacationers, Police Scotland have confirmed.

The trio died in a collision between a automotive and lorry on the A9 at Ralia, south of Newtonmore.

They've been named as Kathryn Bastion-Robust, 46, Jared Bastion, 45, and Mary-Lou Mauch, 75.

The lorry driver, a 59-year-old man, was unharmed in August 10’s smash.

Sergeant Alasdair Mackay stated: “Our ideas stay with the household and pals of those that have died at what's a really tough time for all.”
