Scot extradited from Canary Islands appears in court over organised crime and drugs charges

A Scot who was extradited from the Canary Islands has appeared in court docket charged with medicine offences and severe organised crime.

Paul Martin, from Glasgow, was arrested by Spanish officers final month following a pro-active operation by officers from Police Scotland’s Fugitive Lively Search Workforce.

The 42-year-old appeared within the dock at Glasgow Sheriff Courtroom at this time, charged on two accounts of supplying managed medicine and one cost of committing severe organised crime.

The suspect made no plea and was remanded in custody pending additional examination.

He'll reappear in court docket throughout the subsequent eight days.
