Man seriously injured in fire at Dublin house

A person in his 30s has been taken to hospital with critical accidents following a fireplace at a home in Dublin.

It is known he was one among 5 individuals in the home within the Cromcastle Street space close to Coolock when the hearth started within the early hours of Sunday morning.

Gardai attended the scene together with emergency companies at about 2.20am and Dublin Fireplace Brigade extinguished the hearth.

A Garda spokesman mentioned the person was taken to close by Beaumont Hospital for remedy and that a variety of the opposite occupants of the home have been additionally taken to the hospital for “remedy of non-life threatening accidents”.

The scene was preserved for a time to permit for a technical examination to be performed.
