A 57-year-old man has been charged with murdering his “much-loved” aged mom.
John Anderson Griffiths was arrested after officers have been referred to as to a property in Llanfrynach, close to Brecon, on Friday evening.
His mom Margaret Joyce Griffiths, 87, was airlifted to hospital however died the next day, Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed.
Griffiths was arrested on the scene and charged on Monday evening.
He'll seem at Merthyr Magistrates’ Court docket on Tuesday.
Mrs Griffith, who was identified domestically as Joyce, was described by her household as a “much-loved mom, granny, sister and a loyal and lively member of the neighborhood”.
“The tragic latest occasions have left the household heartbroken and in deep shock,” their assertion added.
“We request respect for our privateness at this dreadful time.”
