Man (65) released ‘unconditionally’ by police after Limavady arrest under Terrorism Act

A person who had been arrested below the Terrorism Act in Limavady on Thursday has been launched “unconditionally” in keeping with the PSNI.

The 65-year-old man had been held following searches at a property on Thursday after an investigation into criminality linked to loyalist paramilitaries.

A number of digital objects had been additionally seized below the Terrorism Act.

The PSNI stated their investigation continues.

On Friday morning, a PSNI spokesperson stated: “A 65-year-old man arrested below the Terrorism Act within the Limavady space on Thursday, September 9 has been launched unconditionally following questioning. The investigation continues.”
