Linda Keith was strolling her two beloved chihuahuas Smurf, 10, and Mo, 11, in Montreathmont Forest in Forfar on Wednesday, September 15, when she was set upon by 5 bulldog-type canine and one bigger combined breed.

She instructed the Report: "My mum is heartbroken, her canine imply the world to her.

Rebecca says surviving pup Mo has been left 'extraordinarily shaken up' and 'wandering the home searching for her accomplice'.

The household has slammed the canine proprietor for permitting the animals to run free.

Rebecca continued: "The opposite canine proprietor by no means apologised, nor did she present any regret for what had occurred.
