A Renfrewshire man who was on the Queen’s Coronation and went on to fulfill her twice is “deeply saddened” by her passing.
James Gallacher MBE, higher referred to as Jim, was simply 14 when he witnessed the Queen’s coronation celebration outdoors Buckingham Palace.
Jim who spent 58 years as a military cadet and military reservist was one among a fortunate few from Paisley who noticed the second in actual life.
