A violent killer who battered a girl with a dumb-bell and left her for lifeless in woods is not going to be launched early on parole.
Robbie McIntosh was jailed for all times for stabbing a girl to demise in Dundee when he was simply 15 and was on house depart in August 2017 when he attacked Linda McDonald.
McIntosh, now 36, was sentenced to a minimal of 5 years for the assault and given an Order for Lifelong Restriction (OLR).
Regardless of being portrayed as a life sentence, the killer confronted an automated parole listening to. It has now emerged the Parole Board for Scotland has refused his bid and can overview his case in two years.
McDonald informed final week how she had “forgiven” McIntosh and as a substitute blamed the system that allowed him to be launched from jail in 2017.
McIntosh admitted assault to extreme harm, everlasting disfigurement, everlasting impairment and hazard to life and tried homicide over the assault.
McIntosh had already been jailed for all times in 2002 for murdering Anne Nicoll.
