Police are interesting for info after two folks have been struck by a van in a suspected hit-and-run incident in Co Antrim.
A man in his 20s and a lady in her 30s have been taken to hospital, with the male’s situation described as severe.
A 34-year-old man has been arrested and stays in police custody following the incident within the Mosside space of Ballycastle.
The collision on the Moyarget Street was reported on Sunday at round 10.20pm.
A PSNI spokesperson mentioned: "At this stage, we imagine two folks had been strolling alongside the street when there was a collision with a van.
“The driving force of the van drove off from the scene with out stopping to verify on the injured folks.”
The spokesperson added: "We're eager to talk to anybody who has info, significantly when you've got any cell phone or dashcam footage which may very well be of curiosity in our investigation or should you seen a crimson Ford Transit Join van within the Ballycastle space round 10.20pm. We will be contacted on 101, quoting reference 2001 21/08/22.”
The Moyarget Street will stay closed.
