Three vacationers from the US have been named as those who misplaced their lives in a crash within the Highlands.
The trio died in a collision between a automobile and lorry on the A9 at Ralia, south of Newtonmore on August 10. Police have named them as Kathryn Bastion-Robust, 46, Jared Bastion, 45, and Mary-Lou Mauch, 75.
The lorry driver, a 59-year-old man, was unharmed within the smash.
Passengers Jared Baiston and Mary-Lou Mauch have been pronounced lifeless on the scene. The motive force Kathryn Bastion-Robust sustained severe accidents within the collision on Wednesday and was rushed to Ninewells Hospital for therapy.
Sergeant Alasdair Mackay mentioned: “Our ideas stay with the household and mates of those that have died at what's a really troublesome time for all.”
