A sneaky seagull has been caught on digicam stealing a croissant from a comfort store. The CCTV footage from Late Cease 24 store reveals the mischievous gull strolling purposefully into the shop earlier than snatching the pastry packet and making a run for it via the store’s entrance door.
The newsagent was one thing of a goal for native seagulls final week with the incident being the second gull-related theft to have occurred on the store final Wednesday. Following two thefts throughout the house of 24 hours, the store house owners appealed for info, saying that the shifty fowl is “pushing his luck”.
Together with the CCTV footage, the Bangor store posted: “Do you recognise this thief? Caught on digicam twice [on Wednesday] stealing from the premises, he’s pushing his luck... Someone on the market should recognise him... Now we have already been given the title Steven, however might be only a relation. Any information appreciated.”
Bangor is just not the one place in North Wales that has skilled points with unruly seagulls of late. Final week, a resident from Llanfairpwll mentioned that village residents are “residing in worry” following a spate of seagull “assaults” over the summer time.
Mr Gareth Parry was dissatisfied with the Council’s response to the problem and informed North Wales Stay: “If I might, I’d ship my council tax to the seagulls as a result of they personal this village now.”
