A police automobile smashed right into a wall because it pursued a car in Aberdeen on Saturday night.
Officers have been pursing a car that was travelling on North Deeside Highway in Peterculter after it did not cease when signalled, round 7.45pm final evening.
Whereas responding to the incident the police car was concerned in a collision with a wall, close to the junction with North Deeside Highway and Malcolm Highway.
Neither of the officers within the automobile have been injured.
The car they have been pursuing was subsequently traced and a 32-year-old man has been charged with varied street visitors offences. A report shall be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson stated: “Officers grew to become conscious of a car travelling on North Deeside Highway in Peterculter which subsequently did not cease when signalled shortly after 7.45pm on Saturday, 7 August.
“The car was subsequently traced and a 32-year-old man has been charged with varied street visitors offences. A report shall be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
“A police car was concerned in a collision with a wall close to the junction with North Deeside Highway and Malcolm Highway whereas responding to the incident.
“Neither of the officers within the car have been injured.”
