Police have drawn a clean after a three-month search of a distant space believed to comprise the stays of the murdered Scots monetary adviser.
Forensic groups have been scouring a woodland space close to Dunoon, Argyll since March within the hopes of discovering the stays of Lynda Spence. The 27-year-old monetary adviser was tortured and killed in 2011 after being kidnapped from a road in Broomhill, Glasgow.
Colin Coats and Philip Wade are believed to have tied Lynda to a chair at a property in West Kilbride, Ayrshire slicing off her thumb and beating her with an iron in the course of the 13-day ordeal.
