Pharma giant Almac Group take home the Overall Company of the Year award

Almac Group was named General Firm of the Yr on the evening, after it was named winner within the Giant Firm of the Yr class.

Niall Harkin, Almac government director, spoke after the corporate’s triumph within the largest class of the evening was introduced.  “We’re completely delighted. We didn’t count on to win two awards so we're shocked.

"It is a tribute to all of the group at Almac and all their laborious work throughout what has been a difficult couple of years.

“We’ve had many challenges, working via Covid, supporting our pharma clients globally, and our folks have actually stepped as much as that.

"That’s a tribute to all our folks throughout all our divisions when it comes to how we’ve supported our clients throughout some very difficult instances.”

Almac employs over 6,500 employees in 18 areas throughout the globe, over 3,400 of whom are in NI, together with at its Craigavon headquarters.
