A person has been rushed to hospital following a 'disturbance' involving a blade in Edinburgh this night, sparking an emergency response.

Mercy crews, together with Police Scotland and Scottish Ambulance Service, swooped on Parkgrove Highway within the Clermiston space of the capital after the alarm was raised round 7.45pm.

A Police Scotland spokesperson mentioned: “Round 7.50pm on Saturday, 28 August, 2022, officers had been known as to a report of a disturbance on Parkgrove Highway in Edinburgh.

“A 32-year-old man was taken by ambulance to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh the place he stays. “Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
