Man left with serious facial injury in 'unprovoked attack' at Belladrum Tartan Music Festival

A person sustained a critical facial damage in an "unprovoked assault" after he was punched at a preferred Scots music competition. The intense assault occurred on the Belladrum Tartan Music Pageant close to Inverness on Friday, July 29.

A 40-year-old man was punched whereas ready at a burger van inside the crimson camp space of the location round 10.30pm. He was handled on the first help web site after which transferred to Raigmore Hospital with a critical facial damage.

The competition which befell from Thursday to Saturday final week attracted a stellar line-up of acts, together with; Sam Ryder, Nile Rodgers & Stylish and Van Morrison.

Police are interesting for witnesses who attended the busy occasion on the time.

Detective Constable Ross Cooper, of Inverness CID, mentioned: “This seems to have been an unprovoked assault and enquiries are ongoing to ascertain the total circumstances.

“The competition web site was busy on the time and we're eager to talk to anybody who noticed what occurred or who has data that might assist with our investigation.
