Cops launch hunt for missing man as concern grows for his safety

Police Scotland say they're changing into 'more and more involved' for the protection of a person who was final seen in Rutherglen.

James Galbraith was final seen on Stonelaw Street within the city at 2 pm on Monday, 29 August.

He's described as being 5ft 11ins, with quick brown hair and blue eyes.

Authorities say he was final seen carrying a crimson short-sleeved checked shirt, darkish denims and black work-style boots.

Officers are urging anybody who has seen James to get involved and help with their enquiries.

Inspector Karen McColl, of East Kilbride Police Station, stated: “We have gotten more and more involved for the protection of Stephen and are urging anybody who might have seen him, or know the place he's, to contact us.

"I might ask anybody with info that may assist us to seek out Stephen to get in contact with us instantly by way of 101, quoting reference quantity 1836 of Monday, 29 August, 2022.”
