A motorcyclist has died following a crash with a truck within the Scottish Borders. Emergency providers raced to the A7 southbound, close to Stow, at round 7.55pm on Friday, August 19.
The collision concerned a black Suzuki motorcycle and a white Scania flatbed truck, that are generally used for hauling heavy items. Tragically, the 41-year-old male biker was pronounced useless on the scene.
The driving force of the truck was unhurt following the incident. The street was closed for round six hours to permit a full collision investigation to happen.
