A housing affiliation has laid the primary bricks of 31 new inexpensive houses close to Ayr.

Development has begun on the West of Scotland Housing Affiliation (WSHA) growth in Greenan as a part of a £5 million challenge in partnership with builders McTaggart & Mickel Houses.
