Police have launched a probe after a girl was discovered lifeless at a home in Dundee. Emergency companies raced to the property on Strathmartine Street after the alarm was raised at round 3.10pm on Saturday, July 2.
Ambulance crews attended however the girl was pronounced lifeless on the scene. Officers say the dying is at present being handled as "unexplained". Their enquiries to determine the complete circumstances are at present ongoing.
It is understood cops stay on the scene after arriving on the property yesterday afternoon. One fearful native stated: "There have been a whole lot of police and an ambulance in the identical place yesterday, then once more extra police arrived at present."
One other added: "Police have been guarding the block all day." Officers say a report will probably be despatched to the procurator fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson stated: "Round 3.10pm on Saturday, July 2, we have been made conscious of the dying of a girl at a property in Strathmartine Street, Dundee.
"Officers attended and enquiries will probably be carried out to determine the complete circumstances surrounding the dying, which is at present being handled as unexplained. A report will probably be submitted to the procurator fiscal."
