Woman dies after taking unwell on Glasgow street as cops probe 'unexplained' death

A lady has died after taking unwell on a Glasgow highway. Emergency providers raced to Bilsland Drive in Maryhill after the alarm was raised at round 9.10am on Friday, July 1.

Ambulance crews attended and the 60-year-old girl was rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for therapy. Cops have now confirmed the tragic information that she sadly died a short while later.

Police say the loss of life is at the moment being handled as "unexplained", nonetheless they don't at the moment consider there was any suspicious circumstances. They are saying a report will probably be despatched to the procurator fiscal sooner or later.
