Two individuals have been injured after a blaze broke out in a block of tenement flats in Glasgow.
5 fireplace engines and ambulance crews scrambled to Fairlie Park Drive in Partick after receiving the alarm at 4.14pm on Tuesday, July 13. On their arrival, two occupants have been discovered to be injured as a result of fireplace, with medics dashing one affected person to a close-by hospital.
A top automobile was among the many equipment utilized by firefighters to deal with the flames.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fireplace and Rescue Service (SFRS) stated: "We have been alerted at 4.14pm on Tuesday, July 12, to experiences of a dwelling fireplace at Fairlie Park Drive, Glasgow. Operations Management mobilised 5 fireplace home equipment and one top automobile and firefighters extinguished a hearth affecting the primary ground of a four-storey tenement constructing.
“Two casualties have been within the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service and crews left after guaranteeing the realm was made secure.”
A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) added: "We acquired a name at 4.17pm from the Scottish Fireplace and Rescue Service to attend an incident on Fairlie Park Drive in Glasgow. We dispatched one ambulance to the scene and transported one affected person to hospital."
