Fond tributes have been made to a preferred member of Paisley’s music scene who was discovered lifeless in Glencoe.
Gordon Don, who was often called Delta Gordy on the music scene, performed with a number of bands and was a stalwart on the city’s many open mic nights.
Police confirmed the 48-year-old’s physique was sadly discovered within the water at Lochan Na Craoibhe, Glencoe, on Wednesday, June 29.

In a press release his household mentioned: “Gordon has gone too quickly. He will probably be sadly missed by his household and everybody who knew him.”
Tommy McGrory, who runs the Loud N Proud music charity within the city and can also be a Paisley music scene stalwart, paid his personal tribute.

Gordon was an everyday at The Keg’s open mic nights and had posted an image on-line of him taking part in guitar with the Clydesider Stompers on the bar’s fifth birthday celebrations.
