A teenage lady has died and a person rushed to hospital after plunging 50ft from cliffs within the Scottish Highlands.
Emergency companies raced to the Victoria Stroll space in Thurso, Highlands, after the alarm was raised at round 5.50pm on Monday, July 11. Ambulance and coastguard crews attended however an 18-year-old lady has tragically now died. Her subsequent of kin have been conscious.
A 26-year-old man was rushed to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for remedy. The teenager's loss of life is presently being handled as "unexplained". Officers say their enquiries into establishing the circumstances are ongoing.

Lifeboat crews had been referred to as to the scene on Monday evening. In a publish on Fb they mentioned: "The Y boat was beached and the 2 crew members shortly positioned the 2 casualties, one male and one feminine.
"The crew members attended to them till the arrival of a paramedic who was winched down from the Search and Rescue helicopter from Inverness.
"The younger man was winched up by the helicopter to a ready ambulance. The feminine casualty was transferred to a stretcher and brought by the ‘Y’ boat to The Taylors after which taken to Scrabster the place she was transferred into the care of Police Scotland."
A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed: “Round 5.50pm on Monday, July 11, 2022, officers had been referred to as to the Victoria Stroll space in Thurso, following a report of a person and lady having fallen from a cliff.
“Emergency companies and Coastguard attended however an 18-year-old lady had died. Her subsequent of kin have been knowledgeable. Her loss of life is being handled as unexplained and enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
“A 26-year-old man was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for remedy."
