A teenage boy has been rushed to hospital after being attacked on a seaside in North Ayrshire. The incident befell shortly earlier than 6.30pm yesterday when a 16-year-old was assaulted on Irvine Seashore.
Emergency companies sped to the scene and the sufferer was taken to hospital with severe accidents. His situation will not be believed to be life-threatening.
Officers need to hear from anybody with any info on the assault, together with those that might have seen it or taken footage of it. They're hopeful of listening to from individuals because the seaside was 'extraordinarily busy' on the time.
Additionally they stated a heavy police presence will stay on the common spot following the incident.
Detective Inspector Stephen McCulloch, from Saltcoats CID, stated: “The seaside was extraordinarily busy on the time, given the recent climate, and so we’re interesting for anybody who witnessed the assault or has potential footage to please come ahead.
“Officers will proceed to patrol seashores throughout Ayrshire within the days forward, as a part of the Safer Shores initiative, and encourage the general public to behave responsibly in the course of the sizzling climate.”
Anybody with info on the intense assault is urged to name police on 101, quoting incident 3093 of 18 July. Alternatively, you'll be able to name Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, should you want to stay nameless.
It comes after an enormous booze haul was seized in Ayrshire yesterday as hoards of children flocked to native seashores in the course of the heatwave, with Troon, Ayr, Prestwick and Irvine packed out as temperatures soared.
