Stunning beach views from Troon flats as thousands head to coast for scorching heatwave

A set of Troon flats has one of the best views on the town because the seashore sizzled in a scorching heatwave.

Fortunate residents have been having fun with the bustling shorefront from a top.

Ayrshire Dwell was given unique entry to at least one 85-year-old's third ground balcony and the surroundings didn't disappoint.

For one household who had simply moved from Liverpool to Glasgow — it was their first time at Troon with their toddler, Luca.

The Chans headed for the Ayrshire coast after beforehand visiting Portobello in Edinburgh.

Johnny and Melissa took two-year-old Luca who started working constructing a sandcastle.

The Faulkner household introduced down canines massive and small, with Lockie and pet Audrey basking within the sunshine.

The household, a few of which have been down from Dundee, got here totally ready with a tent, chairs and loads of provides a BBQ.
