Stroke victim 'too scared to leave home' after brutal beating on Scots street

A STROKE sufferer is just too scared to go away his own residence after being attacked on the street.

Alan Roy was coming back from a purchasing journey on Tuesday when he was battered and left bleeding on the pavement. The 51-year-old suffered severe facial accidents.

Now Alan, who needed to retire from his job as a railway employee after his stroke, is just too afraid to go away his house in Glasgow ’s Milton. Police confirmed that a 51-year-old man has been arrested.

The Crown Workplace and Procurator Fiscal Service confirmed that the person accused of the assault appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Courtroom on Wednesday.

He made no plea and was launched on bail as prosecutors examine additional.
