Unite the union confirmed immediately that its native authorities membership in 26 councils - together with West Lothian - have rejected a two per cent pay provide and voted for industrial motion, calling it “derisory”.
The commerce union which represents hundreds of native authorities staff balloted its members in colleges and cleaning throughout all Scottish councils.
