A 58-year-old man who tragically died on the scene of a crash between a automotive and a bus on the A77 has been named.
John Rae from Girvan was killed after his white MG was concerned in a smash with a blue and white Volvo bus round 10.30pm final evening.
Emergency providers raced to the scene on the stretch of street between Girvan and Turnberry.
Mr Rae was pronounced useless on the scene of the collision, police have confirmed.
