Police issue appeal to trace Paisley man last seen in Rangers top

Cops in Paisley are asking for the general public's assist in monitoring down a person final seen strolling down the road in a Rangers high.

John Strathearn was reportedly seen strolling within the space of Netherhill Crescent in Gallowhill at round 1pm on Monday July 25. The 34-year-old is described as being white, 5ft 8in tall, of medium construct and with quick brown hair.

Police have issued an outline of the clothes he was carrying in a bid to jog native reminiscences. When final seen he was carrying a navy Nike tracksuit, a purple and black Rangers soccer high, a blue Trespass jacket and blue and white Adidas trainers. He was additionally carrying a black holdall bag.

Renfrewshire division officers say there are "rising issues" for John's welfare and have urged members of the general public to get in contact if they've seen him within the final day.

Sergeant Scott Lamont of Police Scotland mentioned: "We have gotten more and more involved for John’s welfare and would urge anybody who could have seen him, or has any data on his whereabouts, to contact police.

"Native officers are finishing up in depth enquiries to hint him.

"I might ask that anybody who believes they might have seen John, or who has another data, contacts us on 101, quoting reference 2976 of Monday, 25 July, 2022."
