Police 'concerned' for missing woman last seen in Edinburgh

A search is underway to hint a lacking girl who vanished in Edinburgh yesterday.

Maryam Arshad was final seen within the Ferry Street space of the capital at 4.45pm. Officers say they're rising more and more involved for her welfare.

The 24-year-old is described as being 5ft 7in tall and with lengthy darkish hair worn in a ponytail. On the time of her disappearance, she was carrying a pink light-weight summer time jacket with maroon high beneath, patterned trousers with small flowers.

She additionally had a small, black cross-body black bag in her possession.

Inspector Caroline Flynn mentioned : “We're rising more and more involved for the welfare of a Maryam and would ask her to get in touch. Anybody who is aware of the place she is, is requested to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident quantity 3581 of 20 July."
