A pedestrian who died following a crash in Cardross has been named by police.
Alan Baker, 42, died in hospital on Monday, July 11 after the incident on the A814.
Emergency companies attended the scene, which concerned a white Skoda Fabia, at about 11.20pm on Sunday, July 10.
Mr Baker was taken to the Queen Elizabeth College Hospital in Glasgow.
Police Scotland stated inquiries have been ongoing and appealed for anybody with data to get in contact.
Sergeant Lloyd Caven, of the street policing unit stated: “Our ideas are with Alan’s household and pals at this troublesome time.
“Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash are ongoing.
“I'm interesting for anybody who might have been within the space on the time and who noticed what occurred to contact us.
“I'd additionally enchantment to anybody who might have dash-cam footage which might help our investigation to get in contact.”
