Outrage as Straight Pride poster promoting 'normal people' shown pinned to Scots church door

A Straight Delight poster selling 'regular individuals' sparked outrage after it was discovered pinned to the entrance door of a church in Glasgow.

A member of the general public claims to have eliminated the offensive poster after recognizing it on the entrance door of the Cathcart Congregational Church on Monday. It's unknown who positioned the poster there.

The cartoon picture depicts a person and a girl with their three kids and is emblazoned with the slogan 'Straight Delight'.

The message written under the graphic reads 'Since you would not be right here with out regular individuals.'

The drawing seems to counsel that heterosexual couples and households are "regular individuals".

Resident Clau Dia shared a picture of the poster on a neighborhood Fb web page, after explaining how she got here throughout the 'ridiculous and homophobic' flyer.

She wrote: "I took it down after taking this picture, so it does not have to burn every other LGBT+ eyeballs.

Many had been left appalled on the message on the poster. David McDaid wrote: "Scum luggage".

Erin McGuigan stated: "That is completely disgusting". Jamie McIntyre added: "I believe that was made for younger youngsters to see judging by the image and phrases".

Cathcart Congregational Church and Police Scotland have been contacted for remark.
