Police Scotland have launched an investigation after a driver was discovered lifeless in a car on a Scots highway on Tuesday night time. The pressure has stated they had been first alerted to a report of concern for an individual at 8.40pm in Aberdeenshire.
Officers then discovered an unresponsive man in a car on the B9119 close to the A93, Ballater, the place a 56-year-old man was pronounced lifeless on the scene.
Cops within the North East suggested motorists at round 9.30pm of a highway closure on the A93 at Dinnet to Burn O'Vat Highway, resulting from an "ongoing incident". The highway reopened at round 2am on Wednesday morning.
A Police Scotland spokesperson stated: “Round 8.40pm on Tuesday, 19 July, 2022 officers responding to a report of a priority for an individual discovered an unresponsive man in a car on the B9119 close to the A93, Ballater.
“The 56-year-old man was pronounced lifeless on the scene.
“The highway was closed till round 2am.
“Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances and a report might be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
