Man collapses and dies in Scots car park as forensic officers comb scene

Police have launched a probe after a person collapsed and died in a Scots automotive park.

Emergency companies raced to East Kilbride Sports activities Membership at Calderglen Nation Park after the alarm was raised at round 10.10pm on Saturday July 30.

A 58-year-old had collapsed within the automotive park space of the membership.

Ambulance crews attended however the man was tragically pronounced useless on the scene.

Footage taken from the scene on Sunday afternoon confirmed an space of the automotive park cordoned off by police.

The loss of life is at the moment being handled as unexplained. Officers say their enquiries are at an early stage.

A Police Scotland spokesperson mentioned: "We have been made conscious of a 58-year-old man who had collapsed in a carpark in Strathaven Highway, East Kilbride, round 10.10pm on Saturday, July 30.

"Emergency companies attended and he was pronounced useless on the scene. The loss of life is at the moment being handled as unexplained and enquiries are at an early stage."
