TV presenter Laura Whitmore is miffed her husband resides it up within the Love Island sunshine whereas she stays at residence. She claims Scots comedian Iain Stirling who voiceovers the present is spending a lot time within the Mallorcan sunshine that he’s turn out to be “essentially the most tanned Scottish man” she is aware of.
Laura, 37, is filming from London whereas her hubby will get to be on the island. She mentioned: “Why does he must be in Spain for the voiceover? I'm like ‘why are you in Majorca?’
“He must be there? To crack a tan? He's essentially the most tanned Scottish man I've ever seen.”
Iain, 34, works with sidekick Mark to write down and do the voiceovers for the nightly ITV2 present whereas Irish-born Laura presents her Aftersun present from studios in London. However Laura – at residence in London with the couple’s daughter 15-month outdated Stevie Re, mentioned she’s even discovered herself mothering the contestants.
“I get a bit motherly and maternal,” she admitted on Radio 2. “You're feeling a bit protecting of them. I went on this 12 months, as a result of it's scorching and I’m Irish, so I've the SPF50 on and I see any individual and say ‘Are you carrying suncream? Are you hydrated sufficient?’”
Edinburgh-born Iain mentioned he cherished how he bought to spend his summer season. He mentioned: “I really like Love Island and it’s such an enormous a part of my life. I really like the individuals who work on it, I really like going to Spain and I really like the contestants.
I’m actually happy with the present – the environment and the camaraderie. I watch each episode like a viewer would.I get to see it a couple of hours earlier than it goes out so I can do the voiceover however I’m as desperate to see what occurs subsequent as people at residence.”
