Airdrieonians have introduced the signing of Celtic teenager Ben Wylie, who says he was bought on the success of three former Hoops males on the membership final season.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder joins Rhys McCabe's Diamonds in time for Saturday's League One opener at Peterhead and follows a protracted line of Parkhead youngsters to make the transfer to Monklands.
Final season Airdrie took midfielder Kerr McInroy, defender Brody Paterson and striker Jon Afolobi on mortgage from Celtic and the trio's success at New Broomfield helped persuade Wylie that is the fitting transfer for him.
He advised airdriefc.com: “Brody Paterson, Jon Afolabi and Kerr McInroy had been all right here final season and so they’ve all went on to do good issues off coming to Airdrie.
