An Airdrie health club hopes to boost as much as £25,000 for St Andrew's Hospice as they relaunch their enterprise on Saturday.
A part of the bumper money pot they hope to provide the hospice, of which they're ambassadors, will come from the public sale of a bottle of whisky that was signed by late Celtic legend Billy McNeil.
Fitness center of the Yr Peak Health 4 U are holding a relaunch occasion at their South Bridge Road premises on Saturday between 11am and 5pm, that includes an look by 'Mrs Brown's Boys' star Gary Hollywood.
The goal of the day is to boost as a lot cash as potential for St Andrew's Hospice, and health club buyer providers supervisor Donna Harrison has set her sights excessive.
She mentioned: "We've got this huge relaunch on Saturday and we're actually pushing the boat out. We're doing all kinds of issues, competitions, and a large raffle, as a result of we're now official ambassadors of St Andrew's Hospice.
"The raffle we're doing on Saturday is unbelievable. We have got a reside public sale going on the minute and the 2 objects which can be there's a framed Rangers prime that is signed by the group that had been within the Europa League closing, and a bottle of malt whisky that is 47-years-old and has been signed by Billy McNeil.

"I had the bottle valued at £450 or thereabouts, however I am hoping a Celtic fan who has some money to splash will go for it, and all of that's going straight to the hospice.
"I am making an attempt to get as a lot cash as I can. Together with all of the raffle tickets, that are a fiver every, I am hoping for something between £15,000 and £25,000 in whole. I do not see why we won't do it.
"We're doing all kinds of fundraising. A whole lot of our members are paying an additional £1 a month, which fits straight to the hospice. We did 'It is a Knock-out', the Midnight Stroll, and we're climbing Ben Nevis subsequent month."
Donna says the health club has grown massively and was 'buzzing' with their award.
She mentioned: "We received Fitness center of the Yr on the Scottish Well being and Health Awards. It was completely unbelievable, we're completely over the moon.

"We have executed a lot to the place, outwith the apparent like the brand new spa, cafe, soft-play and what have you ever, we're doing masses for the hospice and numerous different issues.
"We have got a brand new boxing membership... we have tons of stuff occurring. We have labored our backsides off, and it is simply wonderful to win.
"I really feel as if we're not your typical Airdrie institution, now!"
