Castle Douglas community choir finally able to hold debut concert

After greater than two years of being unable to do what they love greatest, SongWave Choir was lastly in a position to maintain its debut concert events on the finish of June.

Previously referred to as the Feral Choir, the newly renamed ensemble entertained audiences in Dalbeattie, Crossmichael and Kirkcudbright with songs from all around the world, interspersed with associated readings on topics starting from the plight of refugees to the fun of childhood in summer season and adopted by mild refreshments.

Kate Howard, their new musical director, was delighted at how effectively the concert events have been acquired.

She mentioned: “It’s an honour and a pleasure for me to have been requested to take over such an exquisite group of singers.

Choir chairperson Jo Gallant summed up the ideas of all of the singers.
