Young man rushed to hospital with serious injuries after crash on busy Glasgow street

A younger man has suffered severe accidents following a crash on a busy Glasgow highway.

The 23-year-old was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth College Hospital for remedy after being harm on Haywood Avenue.

Emergency companies had been known as to the scene at round 2.40pm on Tuesday following experiences of a two car crash - with one understood to be an electrical scooter or bike.

Officers closed the highway close to the junction with Ashgill Street whereas they carried out enquiries.

The road was reopened shortly earlier than 4.30pm.

A Police Scotland spokesperson mentioned: “Officers acquired report of a two-vehicle crash on Haywood Avenue in Glasgow round 2.40pm on Monday, 20 June, 2022.

“Emergency companies attended and a 23-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth College Hospital for remedy for severe accidents.

“The highway was re-opened round 4.25pm.”
