West Lothian police issue appeal after Mercedes stolen from property

Police are interesting for data following a break-in to a property on Blinkbonny Gardens, Breich, on the weekend.

The incident occurred between 1am and 7am on Sunday (June 12).

A black Mercedes B180 automotive was additionally stolen from the driveway.

Detective Constable Sam Plastow of Livingston CID stated: “Enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I might ask that anybody who lives within the space or who has details about suspicious behaviour contact police.

"We're keen to listen to from anybody within the space who has CCTV, dash-cam or doorbell cameras to examine their footage for something which will help police.

“Though the property was safe, I want to remind owners to be vigilant and be sure that doorways and home windows are locked in a single day. As we come into summer season months, any home windows left ajar for air flow shouldn't be left unattended.

“Anybody with data is requested to contact Livingston Prison Investigation Division on 101, quoting incident 983 of twelfth June. Alternatively data might be handed anonymously by way of Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
