West Lothian facing mountain of debt and rent arrears following Universal Credit roll-out

Common Credit score is fuelling a mountain of debt which West Lothian Council will finally need to write-off, a senior Labour councillor warned this week because it was revealed lease arrears in a single ward had surged by greater than £100,000 in a 12 months.
