Outcast Vasilis Barkas has ended his Celtic nightmare with a mortgage transfer to Utrecht.
The 28-year-old has failed to carry down an everyday spot within the Parkhead beginning line-up after following a £5million transfer from AEK Athens in the summertime of 2020.
Beneath Ange Postecoglou the stopper barely featured and slipped down the pecking order to 3rd alternative at Celtic Park with Joe Hart and Scott Bain holding the highest two positions.
However Barkas will now have an opportunity to revive his profession within the Eredivisie on a brief deal.
