Kayden Campbell has disappeared from Shotts, Lanarkshire, final night time, having final been seen at a takeaway on Station Highway round 10pm.
The 14-year-old is described as being white, 5ft tall and of a thin construct with brown hair and blue eyes.
He was final seen carrying a black North Face jacket, gray jogging bottoms and a black baseball cap.
Officers are urgently attempting to find Kayden as his frantic household say it's a concern nobody has heard from him.
Constable Christopher Duffin, Shotts Police Station, stated: "Since Kayden was reported lacking by his household within the early hours of this morning officers have been making enquiries however to date nobody has seen or heard from him which is a priority for everybody.
"He was noticed at a takeaway on Station Highway final night time however not been seen since.
"We might enchantment to anybody who could have seen him or is aware of the place he's to get in contact with police."
